£20m student housing regeneration project for Liverpool

Work is about to start on a £20m student village in the Ropewalks area of Liverpool. The St Michael’s development will have 261 student bedrooms and is part of a regeneration project in the area.

The site was owned by a local church after it was bombed in the Second World War. Previously illegal fly-tipping, dog fighting, arson attacks and quad biking has made the area a hive of anti-social behaviour.
