Former newspaper office could be converted to student flats – Leeds

The former offices of the Yorkshire Post are set to be demolished after all despite speculation they could be converted to student flats.

A report in the Estates Gazette last week said the Leeds city centre building had been sold for £2m to a Yorkshire businessman who planned to turn the offices into accommodation for the city’s growing student population.

But the Yorkshire Evening Post has described the speculation as “well wide of the mark.” …
