Newcastle Council approves student accommodation in former Grey Street Barclays bank
Controversial plans to convert a historic building in Newcastle into student flats have been approved.
The city council on Friday gave the green light to proposals to develop the former Barclays Bank on Grey Street into 116 bedrooms with shared kitchens.
