Inspector will rule on Sibly Hall student houses in Reading

A government planning inspector will have the final say on plans to build 99 homes in Earley after councillors in Wokingham gave blueprints the thumbs down.

The University of Reading’s bid to demolish a 10-storey building previously used as student accommodation and use the land at Sibly Hall for a residential settlement was unanimously refused by members of the planning committee at Wokingham Borough Council when it met on Wednesday, November 16.
