Leicester student flats work to start in the spring
Accommodation for around 450 students will be created at the 11-storey building, on the corner of Humberstone Gate East and Rutland Street. It will also feature shops, cafes, a gym and 20 business units. The site owner, who said work should start by March, had hoped to complete the revamp by summer next year in time for the autumn university term. However, this has been put back a year because of the complexities of the project and roadworks taking place nearby.
