Cream bosses ‘overwhelmed’ by fan support following announcement that Liverpool superclub could be bulldozed
Cream bosses have broken their silence on plans to bulldoze the site of the world’s first superclub to make way for student flats by saying they’re “overwhelmed” by fan support.
Cream’s Gill Nightingale told the ECHO: “We have been overwhelmed by the response from music fans across the city in support of retaining the musical and creative hub that exists around Wolstenholme Square.”
She said that “developments are still in the very early stages” but Cream are “liaising with the relevant parties on their planning” …
