University of Gloucestershire sells part of campus

The University of Gloucestershire has sold off half its Pittville Campus in Cheltenham to a housing developer. The three-hectare site, which was vacated over the summer, will be partly retained for student accommodation but the rest is earmarked for private use.

Developer Charles Church is expected to submit a planning application for residential housing in partnership with the university.
