Revised plans have been tabled to create hundreds of student flats in the heart of Aberdeen.

Dandara has revised the proposals following consultation events with members of the public.

The plans now involve the creation of 341 units over 13 storeys, four more units than what was previously proposed.

Only 10 storeys would be visible from Schoolhill, with the others built down to Denburn Road. If given the green light, the development would contain 175 studio flats and 166 en-suite rooms.

A cafe, gym, cinema room, games room and common rooms would also be included in the £20 million scheme.

The cafe would be available for members of the public to use as well as those living within the complex.
