Alumno gets consent for student flats in Camberwell
Alumno Developments, a specialist student accommodation provider, has been granted planning consent to refurbish buildings on Peckham Road, Camberwell in London.
Redeveloping the part grade 2 listed Peckham Road Buildings, will provide 155 bed spaces for students at Camberwell College of Arts, part of the University of the Arts London.
Construction work on the buildings, formerly used as offices by Southwark Council but now vacant, will begin in June 2011, with the first students taking up residence in September 2012 …
