Jobs at risk as hotel set to become student residence – Glasgow
A landmark city centre hotel, which has had four owners since it opened in 2000, is in line to be turned into student accommodation.
The Park Inn, behind Glasgow’s Buchanan Bus Station on Port Dundas Street, may close as early as April 29 after the hotel’s current owners, Realstar Group, submitted a proposal to shut the hotel and turn it into student flats.
