CLS unveils £250m Vauxhall development plan – London
CLS Holdings today revealed initial plans for a £250m sq ft mixed-use development in London’s Vauxhall, which include two towers and an aerial walkway.
The listed property company has appointed architect Allies and Morrison to design a redevelopment of a 2.9 acre site at Vauxhall Cross, which includes its headquarters building and is next to the Vauxhall train, underground and bus stations, and close to the new US Embassy.
The scheme includes a new public square, similar in size to Paternoster Square by St Paul’s Cathedral, 200,000 sq ft of offices, a 300-bed hotel, 80,000 sq ft of retail with restaurants and bars, 400 apartments in two towers of more than 40 storeys, a 6 screen cinema and a 240-bed student housing building.
