Winchester New student block to be built
New accommodation for more than 100 students will be built in Winchester’s Sparkford Road after almost two years of planning battles.
Abbotswood Properties already had permission to put up the buildings with 99 bedrooms after winning a planning appeal in June, after the council threw out an original proposal in January 2010.
