New living platform by Student Roost Founder appoints Head of Operations
A new UK living platform led by the Founder and Co-Investor of Student Roost and one of the founding shareholders and former main Board Director of Unite Group Tim Butler has appointed Johnny Langton as Head of Operations. Johnny’s appointment marks another step in the new firm’s goal of building a high-calibre leadership team to deliver exemplary customer service and support growth.
Tim is the CEO of the new platform, which aims to become one of the top five operators of UK rental homes in the next five years and is supported by Australian pension fund AustralianSuper, with a A$1.1bn (around £500m) commitment made in October 2025
